Everyone Can Code

The NCBW, Inc. Everyone Can Code (ECC) Program, Prince George's County Chapter, offers a fantastic initiative to teach Prince George's County School middle and high school students the fundamentals of coding!  

We have three class levels: (must pass one level before moving to the next):

1. Beginner Class (Level 1) - 8-Week Course

2. Intermediate Class (Level 2) - 8-Week Course 

3. Everyone Can Code Boot Camp (Level 3) - 10-Week Course 

4. Everyone Can Code (Level 4) - 10-Week Course

No prior coding experience is needed to join the Beginner Session! All our sessions are online. IPads and laptops are provided to each potential coder (PC) by the national office.  The PCs may meet twice a week for engaging peer-to-peer sessions and individualized one-on-one with mentors (Leads). We encourage a well-rounded experience for our PCs by engaging in community and other learning opportunities. Our chapter has achieved a remarkable 100% graduation rate!

We're also thrilled to share that the chapter's ECC program received special recognition for its exceptional performance at the 2024 National Leadership Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
